The logo that Apt Design created for Xtreme came fully to life as we fashioned a full design style around it. Aimed at a target audience aged 18 to 24, this style was bold, grungy, and complex. Its heavy textures and ornaments were designed to appeal directly to its audience. The brochure that was produced met with instant enthusiasm from current and future members of Xtreme and gave the program a definitive look.
Write on the River 2008
Write on the River is a long-time client of Apt Design, and we have created for them an entire range of design and promotional materials. For 2008 we overhauled their design style to include richer colors, subtler textures, and beautiful ornamentation. Once the style was in place we carried it into a variety of projects. The result? Another sell-out conference and great response from attendees and speakers.
John D. Johnson, DVM
Dr. Johnson was interested in a business card that would reflect his professionalism and education to his consulting clients. Apt Design provided him with a solution that is simple but makes a clear and concise statement. The cards were printed on water- and tear-proof paper, so Dr. Johnson could feel comfortable handing them out in any circumstances.

Fathappy approached Apt Design to talk about redesigning their website, and we were excited for the chance to work on a band’s website. This rock/pop/bluegrass band has spunk, and we wanted to portray that through the site. One of their music videos was included, as well the ability to purchase cds. Check out this band for uplifting tunes sure to get you through any dreary day!
Gee Whiz: The Story of Grady Auvil
Apt Design worked closely with Howell at the Moon Productions from the beginning phases of their new documentary film. We created a design style which was integrated in both the video and across promotional materials. Apt Design handled the creation of all the promotions and collateral for the film, including invitation postcards, banners, the dvd face and cover, advertisements, the movie poster and more.
Wenatchee Valley College
The local college was ready to begin their annual marketing campaign, and this year they were ready for a new look. Based on the concept of ‘growth’ a design style was created that set the tone and provided consistency across print ads, transit signage, and direct-mail marketing. The style was very modern and clean while staying classic and appealing to the college’s older demographic.
Wenatchee Valley Convention & Visitors Bureau
The Visitors Bureau promotes the Wenatchee Valley all over the region and across the nation. For 2007 they were presented with a design theme that would be used across all of their marketing. Variations in color and photos were easily incorporated in a variety of advertisements that ran in magazines such as Horizon Air, Seattle Magazine, and Northwest Travel.
Wenatchee Downtown Association
The WDA wanted a new look for their promotional materials. Taking cues from the original bricks lining the streets downtown we created a design style that incorporated the heritage of the area and the modern services of shopping and events. Ads for a variety of downtown members were coordinated and created and a custom artsy map was created for the foldout portion of the brochure.
Fathappy
Always fun to work with, this rockin’ popgrass band got a new design style for their new cd. The printed materials reflect the fun mood of the group.
Patrick Ward, PHD

As a new business, Dr. Ward knew that the right image was important in creating perceived value and would help set him apart from competitors. After extensive research and discovery he was presented with multiple logo concepts, and he decided on a mark that portrayed growth, strength, and a sense separate elements coming together. Around that logo was built an identity with a style that easily carried to his print materials.
